Junior HR Business Partner NL
MLE BV is looking for a detail-oriented Junior HR Business Partner NL for the Human Resources department.
In this hands-on role, you will develop and foster a positive “can do” culture throughout MLE. You will contribute to the strategy and direction of the function and ensures the standardization & compliance of functional policies, processes and systems. Finally, you will develop a constructive and professional relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
The Senior HR Business Partner reports directly to the Director of HR, Internal Control & Compliance.
Your responsibilities
- Consulting with managers on people-related matters and providing guidance, interpretation and solutions (e.g., includes working to improve work relationships, building morale and increasing productivity and retention etc.).
- Driving processes regarding new hires, promotions and transfers in collaboration with the People Operations team.
- Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to manager (e.g. coaching, career development, disciplinary actions et cetera).
- Administering and supporting benefits processes, and assisting employees with benefit issues in close collaboration with the Payroll Specialist.
- Working together with Finance to accurately and timely process payroll.
- With Director oversight, managing and resolving complex employee relations issues; conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Oversee rehabilitation and work environment matters for Group employees based in Almere
- Manage the ongoing relationship with the MLE B.V. Works Council and prepare matters for Works Council meetings in accordance with the Works Council Act.
- Involvement in various and diverse (European) HR projects, ranging from implementations to organizational changes.
- Together you work on various HR initiatives within the HQ.
What you bring?
- Bachelor in Human Resources Management or HBO.
- 1-3 years of working experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably at an international company.
- Team player with ethical values and sense of responsibility.
- Analytical skills with ability to see the details and the process flows.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both in writing as well as verbally. Dutch is a must.
- Good knowledge of Labor law.
- Experience with payroll management.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with writing guidelines and policies.
