Customs Consultant

We are looking for a hands-on Customs Consultant, reporting to Manager Customs & Trade Affairs.

In this role, you will:

• Collect and analyze data of incoming shipment to get a long-term supplier declaration (LTSD), CBAM and EUDR information of our suppliers.
• Follow up on LTSD obtaining and renewals of our suppliers.
• Administrate LTSD in Sales Force.
• Be the point of contact to our suppliers concerning LTSD, CBAM and EUDR.
• Responsible for periodical reporting about LTSD and CBAM.
• Contribute to the development, testing and implementation of new systems for both LTSD process and CBAM process.
• Determine the correct origin (preferential and non-preferential).
• Classify all incoming items.
• Fulfil the administrative process of classification of all incoming items.
• Support internal and external (customs) audits.
• Support customs license applications.
• Inform and support departments on daily operational customs matters.

 What you bring?

• A middle or higher education level
• Completed Customs Consultant course
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Dutch.
• Experience of both national and international Customs organizations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Capability to adept new rules and regulations.
• Problem solving, can-do attitude.
