Technical Trainer

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Trainer, who will develop and carry out technical training courses using the latest methods of teaching. A good communicator with a strong customer-, quality- and result-orientation.

You will report to the Manager Technical Service.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical training courses. When required, work with translators to carry out the training.
  • Make sure the arrangements for transportation of materials for training on location are being done.
  • Advise the participants’ manager concerning hotel arrangement as and when required.
  • Make sure trucks for training purposes are arranged as and/or when required.
  • Supply information about the participants who should receive a course certificate, and make sure that course certificates are issued.
  • Arrange and distribute the course agenda to participants.
  • Initiate invoices for dealers for attended courses and follow up on payments.
  • Deal with technical training-related inquiries received by email or telephone on a daily basis.
  • Collate technical training newsletters as and when required, for distribution by the publications department.
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest teaching and presentation techniques and technologies and incorporate as required.
  • Many courses will be carried out through an interpreter, which will require coordination and time management, in order to complete courses within the time frame.
  • Facilitating sales E-learning trainings on the E-learning site.

What you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Education (Pedagogische Technische Hogeschool).
  •  Knowledge of and work experience with teaching methods, public presentation skills.
  • Technical skills (mechanical/electrical engineering).
  •  MS Office skills.
  • Very good English, both spoken and written.
  •  Knowledge of either the German or Dutch language will be an asset, as well as practical knowledge of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to travel.
